2019 National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW)

Every year in April, OVC helps lead communities throughout the country in their annual observances of NCVRW, which will be observed in 2019 from April 7–13

This year's theme—Honoring Our Past. Creating Hope for the Future.—celebrates the progress made by those before us as we look to a future of crime victim services that is even more inclusive, accessible, and trauma-informed.

To help the field prepare for NCVRW, the theme artwork, theme posters, awareness posters, and web artwork, and the 2019 NCVRW sample proclamation are now available online. Use these resources to inspire your community and raise awareness of victims' rights.

Sign up for the NCVRW Mailing List to receive—

  • email notification when the complete 2019 NCVRW Resource Guide is available online, and
