The Tri-State Consortium is requesting OVC support for two consultants to conduct a total of six workshops for the "12th Annual Tri-State Advanced Victim Assistance Academy: Addressing Violence Within and Against LGBTQ Communities Through Advocacy, Support, and Collaboration," a 2-day event on violence in LGBTQ communities in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. This event will take place at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland, Maine on November 19-20, 2013 for approximately 150 victim advocates, tribal service providers, and law enforcement personnel.
