On September 24, 2013, OVC TTAC will provide one consultant to deliver a 6.5-hour workshop titled, "How to Support Victims with Disabilities," for the 16th Annual CALICO's Collaborative Training in San Leandro, California. The workshop will help advocates increase their knowledge of factors related to sexual victimization of children and adults with disabilities as well as strategies to address those factors. Approximately 150 administrators, corrections personnel, educators, emergency service providers, health care providers, law enforcement personnel, mental health providers, probation personnel, prosecutors, and victim advocates are expected to attend.
