Dr. David Crenshaw, a child psychologist and James Ha PhD, an animal behaviorist, will share their expertise in their respective fields and explain how the animal and human bond can make criminal justice proceedings less stressful for the people involved in this process.
Finally, assistance dog organizations will describe the selection process that results in the placement of a calm dog that will enjoy working in a high stress environment and the training of the dog and handler that will make them a successful team.
