This webinar will look at the prosecutor's role in responding to the mortgage fraud crisis, including national trends at the local and state level, and what factors prosecutors consider during intake, case development, and ultimately trial. We will also discuss how prosecutors can effectively work with victim service providers to screen victims and identify cases that could be criminal, in addition to civil. This information may assist victim service providers gain a better understanding of how these cases proceed through the criminal justice system, and how they can better work with prosecutors on such cases.
