OVC is supporting one consultant to deliver a 2-hour workshop at the National Association of Victim Service Professionals in Corrections (NAVSPIC) Conference requested by the Kansas Department of Corrections on behalf of NAVSPIC. The workshop will focus on building and enhancing community partnerships in order to respond more effectively to victims and prevent revictimization during offender reentry. Approximately 50 administrators, corrections personnel, faith-based service providers, probation personnel, victim advocates, and volunteers are expected to attend the workshop.
