National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW) Resource Guide 2013 (December 2012) OVC, 130 pages, NCJ 239229.
This guide is designed to help communities and victim assistance providers promote awareness of crime victim issues, the Guide includes educational content, campaign materials, artwork, and a theme DVD. New this year are three pre-produced 30-second PSAs addressing child sexual abuse, child sex trafficking, and elder financial fraud.

Part of the NCVRW Resource Guide, this DVD includes a 5-minute feature video —New Challenges. New Solutions. —and three 30-second television public service announcements (PSAs) that address the topics of child sexual abuse, child sex trafficking, and elder abuse. OVC encourages organizations to use the introductory theme DVD throughout the year at public awareness, education, and training events in local communities to promote and advance the cause of justice for victims of crime.

Guide for Implementing or Enhancing an Endangered Missing Advisory (March 2011) OJJDP, Report, 37 pages, NCJ 232001.
Describes how a community can establish a task force to create an endangered missing advisory (EMA) plan, which creates voluntary partnerships to rapidly recover missing persons who do not fit the AMBER Alert criteria but who may be in danger. EMAs help law enforcement notify the general public that someone is missing and ultimately save lives. The guide provides directions for developing, activating, and sustaining an EMA plan and includes sample plans and press releases.

Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN)
RAINN operates a 24-hour telephone hotline (1-800-656-HOPE) and an Online Hotline for victims of sexual assault. The secure web-based hotline provides a safe, secure, and anonymous place for victims to get help online. RAINN also works to promote education and prevention of sexual assault, compiles and shares links to Legal Resources, including the State Mandatory Regulations regarding children and the elderly.

AMBER Alert
The America's Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response (AMBER) Alert System is a voluntary partnership between law-enforcement agencies, broadcasters, transportation agencies, and the wireless industry, to activate an urgent bulletin in the most serious child-abduction cases.
 
Child Abduction: Resources for Victims and Families
This section of the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Web site provides information about publications developed to support child abduction victims and their families.
 
National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
NamUs, is the first national online repository for missing persons and unidentified dead cases. This initiative brings together two innovative, searchable databases to provide a powerful tool for law enforcement agencies, medical examiners and coroners, victim advocates, and the general public to search for matches between missing persons and unidentified human remains records. Other resources provided include links to state clearinghouses, medical examiner and coroner offices, law enforcement agencies, victim assistance groups and pertinent legislation.

The Office of Children's Issues, a division within Overseas Citizens Services, provides specific services to parents in intercountry adoption and international family abductions.

LOCATER, a national program from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) to distribute advanced computer systems and a cutting-edge web-based program to law enforcement agencies to rapidly distribute images and information about missing-child cases in poster formats.

The mission of the National Runaway Safeline is to help keep America's runaway, homeless and at-risk youth safe and off the streets.
 
Team H.O.P.E.
Team HOPE matches searching families with experienced and trained volunteers who have had or still have a missing child.
